How to make Tamarind Sauce ?



Tamarind sauce is one of Thai spice that make nicer taste. We use sour Tamarind. Why don't we use lemon? Because Tamarind have softer sour taste. When add in some food it will be sweet and a little bit sour. That why we use tamarind. But lemon have strong sour taste we use for the menu that have strong taste such as Som Tam, Yam, Tomyam, etc...

The way to make it very easy. Just steep it water(just enough for your menu) or boil it then keep it in the freezer. I think it's cheaper than buy a Pack of Tamarind sauce. And make sure you have 100% Tamarind sauce. Tamarind good for healthy. :)
